(More customer reviews)Both of the other reviews I see on this page are dead on, yet I have to give this camera 4 out of 5 stars. Indeed, it takes horrible pictures, the flash is too bright and often saturates the picture into complete whiteness, you can't zoom at all, you can't turn the flash off, it's hard to delete the pictures in memory. (If your kid is like mine they take the 79 pictures that this camera holds in about 10 minutes). BUT, my daughter loved this camera. It's got a neck band so she can't drop it unless she tries, and even then I'm prtty sure it would be okay, though I haven't tested this by any means. I can put the pictures on my computer and they look all right there, not great by any stretch of the imagination, but easily good enough for a pree-kindergarten kid to admire. She can see the picture for a moment after she takes it in the preview screen, or go back and look at them later. It makes Dora noises which she loves. And, perhaps best of all, it gets her to stop asking to use my much better camera. We can both take pictures at the same time now and double our fun.

(More customer reviews)Wanted to purchase a compact camera with a larger zoom and more mega pixels then my old 6mp Fuji. I was hesitant because this is a new model from Olympus and there were no reviews. This camera works great, plenty of features and great pictures. The panoramic is really nice and the 640 x 480 video option is good quality for a digital camera even though it disables the zoom function. With the zoom extended (7X) pictures are occasionally not as sharp. After owning the camera for a week I'm very pleased with it. The 8 gig micro sd card holds about 1000 pics at 12mp (fine) or 25 minutes of video.

(More customer reviews)I have been using this powercenter for over a year and it works well. What I like best is that I don't notice any loss of signal quality when using the Coax filter. I have noticed this with other coax filters. The color coded and labelled outlets also are handy when moving/adding equipment. This way you know exactly what you are unplugging. A couple things I didn't like about the powercenter is that it is only rated at 15amps (~1800 watts). So if you have a 20amp circuit for your hometheater you are not able to draw all the power you could. This is probably not a big deal unless you have a lot of equipment and are running it all from the powercenter. Another item to watch for it that the coax input/output connectors have a tendency to loosen up. Then when I move the powercenter my sub woofer thumps loudly. Like it is shorting out internally. This is easy fixed or avoided by tightening the coax fittings. Lastly this unit will not take care of ground loop hums that can occur from improperly grounded cable feeds.

One of the main reasons I purchased the product was to download files from my computer. Now I'm required to go out and purchase a cable. Finally, I was going to bite the bullet(can I say this without being called a wingnut?)so I tried to load the CD provided and could not get the CD to open on several of my computers. So in the box and back to Amazon. Note:Amagon makes returning a product extremely easy.

(More customer reviews)Just like your high end Home Theater devices each piece completes the puzzle. This PF60 is a piece that will protect all your HT equipments connected to it. When I was researching to buy this piece of equipment, I keep asking myself if I should spend this much money and will I ever see the difference. and the answer is yes! I can see the difference. I can see a drastic reduction of digital noise. With the PF60, I can also see how much current each piece of my equipment is drawing and how much voltage the wall socket is providing. The voltage meter has even told me on 2 ocassions when we had brown outs (under voltage). I was using a Monster HT800 before switching to the PF60, and yes it's that much difference, especially when it comes to HD signal. Of course all this is moot if the other pieces of your HT equipment is not good enough. In order to reap the benefits of the PF60, your other pieces of the HT has to be up to snuff, and that includes all the quality speaker wires, analog/digital cables and the Interconnects. I use: HarmanKardon avr525 receiver, Samsung 50" DLP, monster reference digital opticals and coax(s), thx rated and monster 3 components, monster reference DVI, belkin pureaf coax(s) (for connections from wall to the splitters) and 12 gauge speaker cables. Pros: 1. reduces digital noise for a/v equipment 2. can pin point equipment power problems 3. each bank (6 of them) can be programmed to be switched and delayed individually. 4. protects your equipment from power spikes and voltage overage 5. have seperate and specific types of filters by banks. eg. audio filter for receivers, video filter for the HDTV. Cons: 1. I wish it had more banks of digital filter. (1 bank or 2 sockets only) Although, there are plenty of other sockets to use. All in all I love the pf60. It's definitely worth every penny.

(More customer reviews)PROS - When I bought this frame, it was the lowest-priced 800x600 resolution frame. Other frames had lower resolutions and really made pictures look blocky. The resolution on this frame is pretty sharp and there are brightness and color controls to make the pictures look very nice. CONS - The menu system isn't very intuitive. The matte is really plastic and has a cheap look to it. The slideshow speeds are slow, medium or fast - all of which are too fast to appreciate the pictures and the constant changing is distracting when sitting on a desk. So I thought I would try to just display 1 picture. The only way to do this is to pause the slideshow, which keeps an ugly bright blue pause (||) symbol on the screen. The slide show is always in the same order and there's no way to randomize it. I tried to email the manufacturer using the support email on their web site - the message was returned as undeliverable because the email address doesn't exist. I did not try calling their support number. Consumer Reports says that SmartParts has gone out of business. The USB cord is on the short side. I tried 2 other longer usb cords and they caused the frame to hang and disconnect from the computer. OTHER - I didn't try the software, mp3 or video abilities of the frame. If you just want an inexpensive frame that does a somewhat quick slide show of good looking photos, this would suit your needs. If you really want to show off your photos and have some flexibility in how they're displayed, this frame is not for you. Be aware that manufacturer support may not exist.
