(More customer reviews)Just like your high end Home Theater devices each piece completes the puzzle. This PF60 is a piece that will protect all your HT equipments connected to it. When I was researching to buy this piece of equipment, I keep asking myself if I should spend this much money and will I ever see the difference. and the answer is yes! I can see the difference. I can see a drastic reduction of digital noise. With the PF60, I can also see how much current each piece of my equipment is drawing and how much voltage the wall socket is providing. The voltage meter has even told me on 2 ocassions when we had brown outs (under voltage). I was using a Monster HT800 before switching to the PF60, and yes it's that much difference, especially when it comes to HD signal. Of course all this is moot if the other pieces of your HT equipment is not good enough. In order to reap the benefits of the PF60, your other pieces of the HT has to be up to snuff, and that includes all the quality speaker wires, analog/digital cables and the Interconnects. I use: HarmanKardon avr525 receiver, Samsung 50" DLP, monster reference digital opticals and coax(s), thx rated and monster 3 components, monster reference DVI, belkin pureaf coax(s) (for connections from wall to the splitters) and 12 gauge speaker cables. Pros: 1. reduces digital noise for a/v equipment 2. can pin point equipment power problems 3. each bank (6 of them) can be programmed to be switched and delayed individually. 4. protects your equipment from power spikes and voltage overage 5. have seperate and specific types of filters by banks. eg. audio filter for receivers, video filter for the HDTV. Cons: 1. I wish it had more banks of digital filter. (1 bank or 2 sockets only) Although, there are plenty of other sockets to use. All in all I love the pf60. It's definitely worth every penny.
