I bought this camcorder and a large SD card just before a trip to Disney. I captured a ton of video of the kids visiting with characters. The sound was excellent, but the video was absolutely terrible. I would not recommend this camcorder.

Supersonic SC-195TV - 7" LCD TV - portable Review

Supersonic SC-195TV - 7 LCD TV - portable
Average Reviews:

I bought this product to replace my old analog TV. I live by the water in Puget Sound. I did do some homework prior to buying the TV and additional powered antenna. Where I live there are lots of mountains and trees. I have zero reception, despite buying the powered antenna. I connected to my cable TV and have an excellent picture and sound. It is very user friendly, clear picture and good sound. I took the TV to my office in downtown Bremerton and received 8 stations with the powere antenna. Without it, there is zero reception. The digital picture I received was clear and the color was great. Bottom line is that it will probably work well in areas where there are no mountains or trees to block the digital signal. It is great in the city or if connected to the cable. For the price it is a great TV.

Cobra CPI 1575 1500 Watt 12 Volt DC to 120 Volt AC Power Inverter Review

Cobra CPI 1575 1500 Watt 12 Volt DC to 120 Volt AC Power Inverter
Average Reviews:

This product works great, I have a microwave, flatscreen tv, and a toaster i hook up to it and there is no problems. One thing I wish would have been mentioned somewhere is that you need to purchase a 150 amp inline fuse to put in the power wire from the battery to the inverter. So plan on getting one of those and have it ready so you can install it. I didnt know about it and spent some time in North Dakota trying to find one. Enjoy.

Click Here to see more reviews about: Cobra CPI 1575 1500 Watt 12 Volt DC to 120 Volt AC Power Inverter

This inverter provides household power on the go. It converts battery power to 120 V AC household power, allowing you to power up office equipment and household appliances from your vehicle. This unit is ideal for such appliances as microwave ovens (1000 watts or less), coffeemakers, laptops, TVs, video game consoles, CD and DVD players, cell phone chargers, and more.

How The Cobra Power Inverter Works The Cobra power inverter is an electronic product that has been designed and built to take low-voltage DC (Direct Current) power from your automobile or other low-voltage power supplies and convert it to standard 115 volt AC (Alternating Current) power like the current you have in your home. This conversion process thereby allows you to use many of your household appliances and electronic products in automobiles, RVs, boats, tractors, trucks, and virtually anywhere else.
Cobra 1500 Watt Output Waveform Some very sensitive electronic equipment might not operate satisfactorily on "square wave" or "modified sine wave" power. The output waveform of the Cobra Inverter is a "square wave" or "modified sine wave." It is a stepped waveform designed to have characteristics similar to the sine wave shape of utility power. A waveform of this nature is suitable for most AC loads, including linear and switching power suppliers used in electronic equipment, transformers, and motors.
AC receptacles With three ground AC receptacles, you can connect and power multiple devices at once.
USB Output The 5-Volt USB output allows charging and operation of modern portable devices, such as iPods, BlackBerrys, and cell phones.
Remote On/Off Switch Capable An optional Remote On/Off Switch can be connected to the Remote Jack, allowing you to turn the Cobra power inverter on or off from a convenient location when the inverter is installed out of reach.
Safety Features The CPI 1575 will notify you with a flashing meter and alarm sound when there is a power problem, and will shut down for protection in the following situations:
Current Overload Protection--If the inverter is overloaded, it will shut down to protect itself.
Short Circuit Protection--If the AC output of the inverter is short-circuited for one second or more, it will shut down to protect itself.
Low Voltage Protection--If the input voltage drops to 10.0V or less, the inverter will shut down to protect itself.
High Voltage Protection--If the DC input voltage rises above 15.0V, the inverter will shut down to protect itself.
Over Temperature Protection--If the internal temperature rises to 40 degrees C (104 degrees F), the inverter will shut down to protect itself.

CyberPower PR1500LCDRTXL2U Smart App Sinewave Green UPS - 1500VA/1125W AVR LCD SNMP/HTTP XL (Black) Review

CyberPower PR1500LCDRTXL2U Smart App Sinewave Green UPS - 1500VA/1125W AVR LCD SNMP/HTTP XL (Black)
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
The Chinese made (see photo) "CyberPower PR1500LCDRTXL2U Smart App Sinewave Green UPS - 1500VA/1125W AVR LCD SNMP/HTTP XL (Black)" arrived in a solid, well engineered box (see photo). The gross weight of the box is 42 Kg/92.5 lbs (see photo). On the whole, the unit appears attractive and well made as there were no noticeable blemishes and flaws on the finish and surface of the unit. In short, the product projects the appearance of having been assembled in a factory with well define processes and quality control measures.
On the electrical rating of the unit itself, I find the manufactures claim of 1125 watts of net output power a bit disingenuous. According to the affixed manufacturers electrical label, the device is UL rated to draw 12 Amps at 125 VAC or 1500 VA for a net output of 1125 Watts (see photo) with 75% efficiency. That works out to a total of 1440 VA at the wall plug and 1080 watts for a typical 120 VAC house and only 1320 VA and 990 watts for a house running on 110 VAC. Maybe they exist, but I don't know of any house that is operating at 125 VAC. Hence, presuming normal load and source conditions, it would be more forthright to advertise this device with a maximum output rating of 990-1080 Watts at 110-120 VAC.
The CyberPower PR1500, though called a "UPS" by name, is in fact not a true UPS and uninterrupted. This product, by electrical design, is not a double conversion device and therefore has a transfer time up to 6 milli seconds. A true UPS, with double conversion circuitry (AC-DC-AC) has zero transfer time and truly uninterrupted with AC line lost. But, because of noise levels, electrical efficiency issues and popular perception, CyberPower, APC and other manufactures include devices such as this under the heading of UPS.
The set up and configuration instructions are incomplete and uses very small hard to read type. Also no hard copy of the manual is supplied. The only manual available is one that can be down loaded or obtain from the supplied CDROM. Not all of my power backup applications are near a computer(s) and to presume so or to disregard other applications is a bit near sighted. As for tech support, twice this week I called the phone number listed on the company web site during normal working hours (1:30pm CST) and the phone rang for several minutes with no one answering.
Although not mentioned in the instructions, the front LED display block can be removed and rotated (see photo) to accommodate horizontal and vertical placement. To rotate the LED display block, one has to insert a flat tip (standard) screw driver into a small slot (see photo) and gently and carefully lift and extract the display block. The display block is attached in the rear with a ribbon cable to the face panel so be careful not to extend this part too far. Somewhat disappointing, given today's technology and ease to set, but the displayed input voltage is off by +2 VAC as per a Fluke 187 DVM.
The on/off switch has a plastic protective flip cover (see photo) to prevent accidental cycling of the AC source. This is a nice hardware feature and one that I feel other manufactures would do well to adopt. The unit comes with a 10 foot power cord with the AC prongs set in a protective plastic sheath (see photo). Batteries were fully charged on arrival.
As an observation, during the power cycle/transfer test and yet to be quantified, I noticed that the CyberPower PR1500 produces more inverter, cooling fan noise and vibration than the combined effect produced by an APC SU1400RM2U and SU2200RM2U sine wave units I have protecting an audio system. That's because the inverter fan in the CyberPower PR1500 is not a variable speed fan and operates at full speed at all times the inverter is functioning.
Though minor, at the rear of the unit, the space between the ether cable (line out) and the AC power cord grommet (see photo) is too tight. Even though I have small hands, I still found it necessary to use a flat tip device to depress the plastic ether cable release tab to disconnect the ether cable. This clearance problem could be alleviated if the chassis designers were to rotated the ether ports in their mounts by 180 degrees, placing the ether cable depression release tab opposite to that of the power cord grommet.
Included is a set of rack mount ears (see photo), pseudo dovetail, sliding rail kit (see photo) and shoes/chock (see photo) for freestanding. The steel rails and slides are of the non roller bearing type but still very functional. The two supplied plastic shoes for setting up the UPS in the vertical orientation can be separated (see photo) into four separate chocks for setting up the device in a horizontal non rack mount placement. For a heavy product, not having to be flush with the resting surface can be very helpful such that one can get their fingers underneath the unit for easer lifting.
The CyberPower PR1500 came supplied with a full complement of cables (see photo), two 9 pin serial cables, one USB 2.0 cable, one RJ-11 telephone cable, one RJ-45 CAT5 ether cable along with a CDROM containing the management software.
Last, a three display workstation (23", 24", 22") with an Intel i7 860 CPU, 8GB DDR3, XTC Memory Cooler, Radeon 5850, NEC USB3.0/SATA6 PCIe, AVer HDTV PCIe, 2TB RAID 01, 1.5 TB eSATA HD, Scythe Fan Controller, 3X 120mm fans, 3x 100mm fans, Ultra 600W PS, BT, GB ether hub, speaker bar drawing a total of 304Ws as per the UPS, reports having an estimated run time of 44 minutes with fully charged batteries.

Minus 0.25 for how the UPS output is electrically rated.
Minus 0.25 for high noise level of the AC inverter sub system.
Minus 0.25 for incomplete and too small a print used on the instructions.
Minus 0.25 for not supplying a hard copy of the user manual.

PF Power MIW-POWER-PRO-PFP In-Wall Home Theater Power Management Surge Suppressor Review

PF Power MIW-POWER-PRO-PFP In-Wall Home Theater Power Management Surge Suppressor
Average Reviews:

This is the perfect solution for wall-mounted HDTV's, offering superior surge protection as well as two recessed plugs for additional room behind your new set. The new LCD and Plasma TV's are very sensitive to voltage surges; however, if you're mounting the tv on the wall, space is at a premium and the last thing needed is another device between the set and the wall. As a result, many people decide not to try to fit a surge protection device behind the set. You're asking for trouble if you do this. I highly recommend this device as your solution.
Compare the specification on this device with most protectors in your local store: you'll find it has superior technical specs, with the added, and welcome bonus, of eliminating wires, and offering the recessed plugs, for even more room to plug in the TV and another device (like a DVD player). It has indicator lights to confirm the voltage to your set is normal and another light to tell you if you have a problem.
Installation is not difficult, even for a novice. Just make sure you turn off your breaker switch to your outlet before you start! Follow the directions in the package, and you're ready to go. It's more expensive than some other in-wall solutions, but the added features are worth the price. Highly recommended.

Rapid Charge Universal Li-Ion Battery Charger Review

Rapid Charge Universal Li-Ion Battery Charger

This little gem is one of those things that falls into the 'you get what you pay for' category. Sure, there is no documentation, the package is printed in Chinese (I think), and you're on your own figuring out what the flashing light means. But the darn thing does exactly what it's supposed to do - nothing more, nothing less. After a little trial and error, I decided the flashing blue light means it is working, and that when the flashing stops, it is done charging. The build quality is cheaper than heck, but then the product is cheaper than heck, as well. I bought two, because when I need one, I really really need one and wanted a spare. For some reason, two more of these showed up at my house a few days after the first pair arrived at work. Can't complain about that! Buy a couple, be gentle with the contacts, and enjoy a cheap, simple solution for those occasional emergency charging problems.

New Pair BLACK Headrest with 7" DVD USB SD VIDEO Monitors Wireless Game Car Package Review

New Pair BLACK Headrest with 7 DVD USB SD VIDEO Monitors Wireless Game Car Package
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I purchased this through Amazon, but the sub-supplier handled complaints and return of the product. I am glad that I had Amazon backing up this purchase.
After reading several other reviews on this product, I was prepared for some of the issues. The biggest issue is the Chinese to English translation in the operations manual (not the installation). You need to sit down with a cup of coffee and read these directions first with the product in front of you. There is a Chinese website that is more useful than the instruction manual, or the supplier. If you have a 12 VDC power supply, it is worth it to sit down and figure out all the controls and make sure everything functions before you install these.
The adapter rods are of course too small in diameter for today's American Made vehicles. So I twice wrapped them top to bottom with black electrical tape. That seemed to make them snug enough to fit.
Hooking up the wiring was relatively easy. My problem came after I had installed them and after playing for 5 minutes, one of the LCD screens went totally blank. The supplier company required me to package everything back up and Fedex picked them up the next day. One week later, my returned package arrived at their business in New York. After a few phone calls, they then shipped a new set which arrived in three days. I tested the new headsets for an hour before installing them. I didn't want to have that problem again.
The game CD have nothing on them. they are blank. So I guess you have to go to their website, download the games compresed to your computer, open the games, then transfer them to the CD.
Make sure your headsets work. If you have 2 kids in the car and they are watching different DVDs, the sound is maddening. Remember the speakers are right behind your head times 2.
So far I am pleased with the equipment. I had three previous vehicles that came from the factory with entertainment systems and we liked them all. But with my latest car purchase, I didn't want to spend $1200 more for factory installed DVD systems, so I thought this was a good investment. If in the future these DVD players break, I can just re-install original headrest. At least for now the grandkids are occupied on long trips.
I rated this a '3' because the operating instructions are difficult to understand, and that I had to wait two more weeks for a good set to arrive. The supplier did handle the problem without question..they just wanted to confirm there was something wrong with them.

SuperSonic SC499D 9 LCD Portable Digital TV with ATSC/NTSC Tuner and AC/DC Power (1 Each) Review

SuperSonic SC499D 9 LCD Portable Digital TV with ATSC/NTSC Tuner and AC/DC Power (1 Each)
Average Reviews:

I was looking for a battery power TV expressly for use in case of a a power outage. After reading reviews on several brands of portable TV's from various places, I decided to give this one a try. Battery was fully charged when received.
The first channel scan with the provided antenna didn't pick up anything ,(I live about 20 miles from the closest broadcast tower). I hooked up an old set of rabbit ears that came with a TV that I purchased many years ago, rescanned and picked up 3 channels, one weather station, the local NBC affiliate, and something else. The weather & local news is what is important to me when the power is off, so that is fine. I hooked it to the cable, rescanned and received all my regular cable channels. For emergencies this will work. I am purchasing a 12 volt power supply that runs on 8 D cell batteries as a backup to the internal battery which lasted about 2 hours.
It has a very good picture when hooked up to rabbit ears & maybe even better when hooked to the cable.
Another note: I repositioned the rabbit ears and now get 6 channels.
The power supply I purchased is not available here. [...].
The only negatives: provided antenna & the coax connection is to tight to screw the cable to it. (I solved this with a push on connector that raises the connection enough for easy attachment of cable or antenna).
The picture of this unit posted on Amazon & elsewhere is not the SC-499D. Look at the posted customer images to see the image I posted from the manufactures website.
Update: Amazon has changed the image on their website since I added the one from manufacturers website.

Panasonic Lumix DMC-FP1 12.1 MP Digital Camera with 4x Optical Image Stabilized Zoom and 2.7-Inch LCD (Pink) Review

Panasonic Lumix DMC-FP1 12.1 MP Digital Camera with 4x Optical Image Stabilized Zoom and 2.7-Inch LCD (Pink)
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I should preface this by saying that I used to be a semi-professional news photographer, so I tend to expect more from a camera than the average consumer might. I have a DSLR that I use for anything serious, but I need to have a pocket camera for those occasions where the DSLR is overkill, but the cell phone won't cut it.
Bought this to replace my Pentax Optio S6. I had purchased an Optio S3 for my folks, and was impressed by the quality of the pics that such a tiny little camera could kick out. But the S6 never seemed to work quite as well as that S3-- the autofocus always seemed to fail just enough that the pic looked ok on the camera screen, but was bad when I downloaded it to the PC. I was also never that impressed with the flash for indoor pictures.
So when making this purchase, I basically wanted to correct those three issues-- better autofocus, better overall image quality, and better indoor/flash images.
So far, this camera is winning on all three counts. The autofocus kicks in in about half the time as the S6, and it has a focus assist light that I don't remember noticing on the Optio. In low-light situations, I'm getting reliable focus when zooming in on objects that are 10 feet away. The image stabilization seems to work very well, and it's much more obvious if a picture is out of focus or blurry than it was with the S6.
The flash definitely appears to be a lot more powerful, but until I use it to take pictures in a bar at night, I can't give the final word on that.
Likewise, the pictures I've taken so far appear to be pretty good-- the camera compensated for twilight conditions well on full-auto mode, although things were a bit oversaturated. The auto ISO adjustment kicked out relatively noise-free pictures even at 800, and 400 looked as good as anything I've gotten out of a point and shoot before. The real test here will be taking some outdoor pics in full daylight.
One feature worth pointing out, if you're more accustomed to SLRs-- you have a dedicated exposure compensation button on the back of the camera, allowing you to make some manual adjustments to the image. The results are shown on the display in real time, so I was able to have the camera correctly focus on the ground, but expose for the sky. From what I've seen, however, you don't have the ability to adjust shutter, f-stop, or focus manually, although you can lock the camera to a specifc ISO.
The video apppears to be acceptable-- I was pleasantly surprised to see that the image stabilization worked with the video, although the final result was nowhere near as sharp as I would normally expect out of HDTV resolutions. This may have been due to lighting conditions.
Overall, this is a solid unit that's only a little wider than the diminutive Optio S series, while being slightly less deep. I'm impressed by what I've seen so far-- this definitely seems like the pocket camera that I needed. Small enough to not have an excuse to leave behind, powerful enough to take good shots, and at a price that doesn't break the budget.

Overall, this is a competent replacement for my three old Mintek player. See below for pro's and con's. The battery recharge takes 5 hours and device will play for about 4.3 hours. I think thats pretty decent.
Pro's
Decent 9" screen. Quite sharp for retail movie DVD's. If you were expecting HDTV, look elsewhere.
Sound quality was fair.
Many remote buttons are duplicated on the player.
Plays MP3 CD's. Can view jpg picture files on a CD.
Compact remote.
Includes a tight fitting sleeve, AV cable, car power adapter, and AC power adapter.
Use AV cable to play back to a TV. (Additional component/composite cable may be needed).
Not as heavy as my previous 7" Mintek player.
Con's
Player has motor noise noticeable at low volume levels.
Body of the player is plastic, feels cheap.
Maximum volume is a little short.
On/Off slider is marked reversed.

CyberPower PR3000LCDRT2U Smart App Sinewave Green UPS - 3000VA/2250W AVR LCD SNMP/HTTP XL (Black)

This is one HEAVY UPS. Make no mistake, this is not really intended for home use. It is incredibly user friendly, except the weight. The software is great! The only real downside is when the unit looses power, the fans that kick on are more than a little noisy... but they only come turn on when it looses power, so that's a pretty small downside... Oh, and only 4 of the outlets are back-up outlets. The other 4 are surge protected only. All in all, the unit is great. And [...] got it to me FAST! I've ordered from them before, and will definitely do so again

Logitech Cordless Desktop MX 5500 Revolution Bluetooth Mouse and Keyboard Review

Logitech Cordless Desktop MX 5500 Revolution Bluetooth Mouse and Keyboard
Average Reviews:

(More customer reviews)
I have been a fan of Logitech wireless keyboard and mouse combos for several years, and have owned nearly every new model they have come out with. My family has three computers, and all of them get used several hours a day, so I replace they keyboards and mice quite regularly. Logitech has always impressed me with their RF combo models, which have a great range and an extremely reliable signal. However, recently Logitech started dabbling with Bluetooth, and I have been disappointed with them for doing so. When the MX 5000 desktop combo was first released, I was quick to snag one immediately. It took me over two hours, and several reinstallations of the SetPoint software in order to get the combo to work. I encountered similar frustrations when I purchased the diNovo Laser combo for my wife's PC. Both of these keyboard/mouse combos use Bluetooth wireless to communicate with the PC, and both have proven to be extremely unreliable and frustrating to use. Many of the problems involved keystrokes not being recognized, sluggish mouse response, or even one of the devices losing connection entirely; requiring device reset or a complete reboot of the computer. I recently replaced both the MX 5000 and diNovo combos with Logitech's RF model MX 3200, which works flawlessly, and I swore that I would never buy a Bluetooth wireless desktop combo from Logitech again. Well, when I saw that Logitech was releasing a combo that offered the MX Revolution mouse, I just had to have it. You can imagine how disappointed I was to see that Logitech had decided to make this a Bluetooth set. Why would they do this? After all of the problems people have had with recent Bluetooth models, and all of the complaints that have been posted all over the net, I Should think that Logitech would have learned their lesson! Yet I had hope that maybe Logitech had learned from their mistakes and had improved the design and communication of this new model. I decided to order the MX 5500, as soon as it was released, and I have been using mine for the past few days. So far I am VERY impressed.
Installing the MX 5500 system was far better than my previous experience with Logitech Bluetooth combos. As recommended by Logitech, I first uninstalled my previous SetPoint installation and rebooted the computer. I still found that I had to use my MX 3200 keyboard and mouse to let logged into my computer, as Windows had still not detected the new Bluetooth dongle (included with the MX 5500) I had inserted into a USB port. Once I was logged into my Windows account it popped up a message saying that new hardware had been detected. Windows first sees it as a USB hub, and soon installs a two new HID devices, one for the keyboard and one for the mouse. I was then able to remove my 2.4GHz RF dongle for the MX 3200 combo, and my new MX 5500 was working just fine. This is BEFORE I reinstalled the SetPoint software! Logitech has found a way to pair the MX 5500 devices at the factory, to make it easier to install your new devices. This improvement alone won some big points with me. I then proceeded to install the included SetPoint 4.24 software, included with the MX 5500 combo. Installation was a breeze and a Bluetooth Connection Assistant soon popped up on the screen. It showed that the MX Revolution mouse was connected but that the keyboard was not. As the Connection Assistant suggested, I pushed the little red "Connect" button, located on the bottom of the keyboard, and was soon prompted to enter a 4-digit PIN number from the keyboard. After completing these simple steps my keyboard was successfully connected, and both the keyboard and mouse have remained connected every since.
I spent some time customizing the features of my new MX 5500, which can take a while since there are so many possibilities with this combo. The so-called backlit 2.95- x .79-inch LCD on the keyboard is very nice. This display can be toggled to several different modes, including time/date, media (shows artist name, song title, and progress bar), temperature, ABCD "favorites" key assignments, key counter, and e-mail inbox. Very impressive is the fact that the LCD updates quite quickly, when you receive a new e-mail or start playing a music track. This LCD also displays information like Caps Lock status, calculator, volume level, mute indicator, low battery warning, etc. The LCD is not really backlit, persé, but rather has a type of reflective property that shows up really well (if you have enough ambient light in the room).
I will not go on about every feature of this desktop combo. Most everyone will have already heard of (or used) the Logitech MX Revolution wireless laser mouse. The only change made to MX Revolution, from the original, is the change from 2.4GHz RF to Bluetooth. For a complete review of the new MX 5500 wireless keyboard/mouse combo, please look here:
http://www.extremetech.com/article2/0,1558,2252551,00.asp?kc=ETRSS02129TX1K0000532
As mentioned before, I have never been impressed by Logitech Bluetooth keyboard/mouse combos. In fact, I have not been impressed with Bluetooth technology as a whole. RF seems far more reliable and works at much greater distances. Bluetooth is OK for cell phone headsets but I have never thought of it as a sensible wireless technology for keyboards, mice, or anything else in my home. I am happy to say that Logitech has changed my mind, and has proven to me that this technology can work in a home or office setting. They now use Bluetooth 2.0 technology and claim a range of 30 feet. I have tested both the mouse and keyboard at a range of roughly 16 feet and they continue to work very well. My only complaints are as follows:
- Scrolling feature on mouse sometimes hesitates, but eventually smooths out.
- Caluculator button on keyboard uses keyboard LCD as a calculator, rather than bringing up the Windows calculator.
- Keyboard volume controls use LCD to display volume level, and the level indicated is not very accurate.
- No included USB extension cable and/or desktop Bluetooth receiver (they just give you a USB dongle).
Other than these small complaints, I am very happy with my new MX 5500 wireless keyboard/mouse combo. It appears that Logitech got it right this time. I am still not a big fan of Bluetooth technology, but the MX 5500 may potentially change my outlook altogether. One little thing to mention, the Bluetooth USB dongle that Logitech gives you should really not be plugged into the back of a PC, but rather out in front or preferably up on the desktop itself. I would suggest using a USB extension cable. Logitech should have included one with the MX 5500 kit. In fact, I am using the little USB cable and stand that Logitech included with the MX 3200 RF combo kit. Why they didn't include one of these with the MX 5500 is anybody's guess. So if you are considering the MX 5500 for youself, but have been holding back because of the troubled Bluetooth problems from previous models, I can honestly tell you that my experience has been wonderful and trouble free. At over $160, this combo is not for everyone. But if you have been waiting, as I have, for a wireless combo that includes the fabulous MX Revolution laser mouse, then order up the MX 5500 today and try it for yourself. I think Logitech has really done it right this time! =o)

I needed something to figure out my birds nest in the back of my entertainment system. This unit not only looks clean, but is easy to set up and use. The one thing I dislike is the remote its so tiny and you cant use a universal remote with it. Otherwise its solid unit and works great

This High Def power outlet has protected my home theatre at least four or five times that I can remember. Whenever there's a power surge in my house the PowerCenter turns my tv off. I can't really tell the difference in picture, which is what the description says it does.
